Waterfront resort in a state park offering humble rooms & cabins, plus dining, fishing & hiking. Set on the shores of the Tennessee River and Wheeler Lake, this modest lakeside lodge is 27 miles from Florence. Humble lodge rooms have balconies facing the lake, plus minifridges, coffeemakers, microwaves and whirlpool tubs. Cottages are also lakeside, and have TVs with cable channels and DVD players, plus fireplaces and kitchenettes. Rustic 1930s-era cabins have river views, TVs and basic kitchens. There's a restaurant in the park, plus boating, fishing and kayak rentals. Other amenities include a picnic area, an 18-hole golf course and a sandy beach, as well as a marina and a general store.
