Amid countryside overlooking Rough River Lake, this simple, rural hotel in Rough River State Park lies off Highway 79, and is 18 miles from downtown Leitchfield. Featuring patios or balconies with lake views, the cozy, wood-paneled rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screens and coffeemakers, as well as sitting areas. Secluded cottages add living rooms, kitchens and BBQs; some have screened porches. There's an eatery with scenic lake views, in addition to a slip marina, an airfield, a hiking trail and beach access.
