In the Chippewa National Forest, along the shores of the East Seelye Bay, this year-round resort dates to 1924, and is 15.4 miles from Bowstring Municipal Airport. Cozy, bright red cabins with 1 to 5 bedrooms and knotty-pine interiors offer lake or forest views, plus bathrooms, decks and kitchens with dishwashers. Some also have bunk beds, air conditioners and/or sofas. Amenities include kids' programs, a playground, and a sand beach with volleyball and free rafts, kayaks and hydrobikes. The main lodge has a general store, a game room and complimentary WiFi; pontoon and motorboat rentals are available for an additional fee.
