Low-key lodging in a 1926 riverside resort offering a seasonal waterslide, a nightclub & fishing. Founded in 1926, this relaxed, family-owned resort set along the Frio River is 23 miles from downtown Uvalde. Rustic cabins, condos and lodges come with kitchens, separate living areas, picnic tables and BBQ grills; some have fireplaces and river views. Condos add TVs and air-conditioning. Lodges have 4 or 5 bedrooms. Linens are not provided, and limited free Wi-Fi is available. Amenities include a business center, and a low-key restaurant. There's a seasonal waterslide and complimentary night club access. Activities such as hunting, water tubing and hayrides, plus river and catch-and-release fishing are available for a fee.
